Loop’s Murphy

*WARNING!! HARRY POTTER SPOILERS IN COMMENTS!!*

I’ve always been fond of Murphy’s Law. Not in that way that most use it, like an eloquent way of saying, “Shit Happens,” but rather that in the land of probability/possibility, anything can happen. Murphy literally attacks the negative aspect of this line of thinking, but I’ve always thought that the last thing you would expect to happen will happen, which includes the possibility that the event might be a positive one.

Milca got a call from an ex who she hadn’t talked to in some time, and didn’t see the need (nor did she have the desire, if you get my meaning). When he called he was polite, made apologies, and seemed to be doing well. Though she didn’t think too highly of him, Milca didn’t want him dead or anything, and even wondered if he was still alive. Knowing that he was, and hearing him apologize left her feeling good about his call.

A week ago she would have never thought this to be possible, then it happens, and the end result was positive. He was bound to call, but the fact that the end result would even resemble something positive was right out, yet it happened. I wonder if the same would happen if I ran into Voldebitch. Would I give her the time of day? Would I listen to anything she had to say, apology or no?

The wonders never cease.

Expect everything.

Fear nothing.

Allow change.

Nothing is final.
