300 and 10000

So, if you give my little counter there a look you’ll notice that in the past couple weeks I have passed 10000 hits. I guess I’m either popular, or I talk about enough random shit that search engines constantly find my page with the craziest references (allergies to papa john’s pizza, enema site:blogspot.com, how to save ariel in legend of zelda the windwaker, sucking on my titties fucking the pain away, etc.), or it could be the wonderful folks that link to me. I try to reciprocate, of course, so I would kindly ask that you give my links a gander and see what they have to offer. They are the sites I frequent, so if they’re good enough for me, they sure as hell better be good enough for you.

That being said, I’ve also surpassed 300 posts since February 2004. That’s not bad, considering it’s been 17 months.

I’m fairly tired of late, and don’t have the time to blog at work much anymore, however I will continue to post as frequently as possible. As soon as the money starts pouring in I will set up the hosting and move this blog, but that’s a little ways off at this point. I still have to talk to the powers that be, *cough*Curtis*cough*, about getting everything hooked up. More to follow.

On an unrelated topic, my favorite word is onomatopoeia. Saying it, spelling it, and what it means all make me warm and fuzzy inside.

Loop in his element, not on the toilet, in down dog

It has been a long time since I held a script in my hands, running over lines, getting my body language right, going over my intonations, getting my face moving. Last night I was given the opportunity to take part in a little diddy at PCC that will be rehearsing over the next several days, and films next week. We’re doing a reproduction of an episode of Friends with Corey, Max, and various other PCC folks that I only recently met. They’re filming the same episode with two casts, some characters being played by the same person, but other roles are shared. Max and I share Ross.

It should be good fun, and I’m eager to get back in to the groove of acting. It has been quite some time since I was on any stage, but I feel like I was able to hit the ground running, even if it was a shaky landing. As soon as I know when things will be happening, the masses will hear it from the mountain top.

The only other news for your humble narrator, oh my brothers, is that the plumbing in the house is all fucked up. We can’t shit at the house, which has made for some late night trips to the gas station and showers that involve having the water off more often than it’s on. I have much more love for my gym membership, which allows me toilets, showers, and even a sauna.

The gym also allows me to take yoga classes, which are just part of the membership. I typically only went on Mondays, but I have started going on Wednesdays as well. the Monday class is fairly easy, but I am still sore the next day. The Wednesday class is run by a little Chinese girl that is hell bent on breaking my body. It wouldn’t be so bad if she didn’t talk with that stereotypical Chinese lisp. Half the time I want to laugh out loud, the other half I’m trying not to cry out in pain. All in all, I’m feeling a lot better having taken it, and will continue to do so. No pain, no standing on your head while doing the splits.

Netflix History

So, I was talking to someone about how much I’ve used netflix and wanted to know how many movies I’ve gone through. As it turns out, netflix can email you a history of what you’ve rented. So, I bring you all 172 discs I have seen*.

It’s Big, It’s Heavy, It’s Wood!

Everyone wants a blog.
Your gonna love it, blog.

I have had tons of stuff happening lately, just no time to actually sit and post it all. In an attempt to bring you all up to speed, I will give brief one shot updates.

Milca is in school taking Critical Thinking, which means she is learning how I operate a bit more. Challenging for her, good for our marriage.

I’ve been going to Tuesday Night Dinners being thrown by Amanda, which has been an awesome opportunity to see peeps, get my video game on before the dinner with my dork brethren, and eat an actual meal with the homies rather than congregate around a television.

My brother turns 19 this weekend, and to celebrate we are going to Vegas to see Red Hot Chili Peppers play with Weezer. After this shindig I am going to Dafe’s to party the night away with a keg and homies.

4th of July will likely be spent at home with the wife, and a few homies and family. El Sereno has its own fireworks display totally free, and totally ghetto.

Milca’s mom has a suitor who came over for dinner the other night. He is the most suave person I have ever met. You can tell that he is very classy, and he has obviously lived a full and exciting life.

I am completely addicted to Myspace at this point. I am finding old homies thought lost, meeting a few new ones, and rebuilding bridges that I may very well have considered FUBAR.

I am going to Burningman this year. Milca, as of now, is not. While I want her to go with all my fiber, I understand why she may not be able to go ($, time, pets, etc). Planning is ensuing, and I plan to have a fully operable shower on the playa. The mere construction and layout of said shower should increase the comfort level to a possible 11 (I know, you could make 10 more comfortable, but this shower will go to 11).

I am loving my work, loving working overtime for more money, and enjoy the company of my coworkers. What more can I ask of the place I spend 40+ hours a week?

I wish I had more money and time, but then that is a constant with anyone all the time, no?

That’s all I’ve got right now. More to follow, I’m sure.

Boobies.

Who I talk to

I talk to people that don’t want to marry outside of their ethnic group.
I talk to people that don’t know what browser they use.
I talk to people that don’t know what right clicking is.
I talk to people that REALLY LOVE JESUS.
I talk to people that are generally stupid.

Who do you talk to?

Everything’s Coming up Milhouse

I was fortunate enough to see my Nikki this weekend to celebrate her birthday. I was able to catch up on all the gossip (some that happened under my not-so-observant nose), catch up on current events, and bring her up to speed as well. I was fairly worried about her, as she came out of a long lasting relationship that wasn’t all that stimulating for her. As a matter of fact, it was outright draining.

Typically when someone leaves a relationship like that they tend to gravitate towards the same kind of deal. Luckily Nikki was able to get a much needed self confidence boost from a mutual friend. This, along with her newly found circle of friends, has made her realize what we have told her all along; that she is beautiful, intelligent, funny, and has a heart of gold.

Worry is now hope. The Loop is happy.

I Am Chewbacca – D.V.D.A.

I sit in a yellow cubicle
And I type at an orange screen
And I’ll get a raise next Tuesday
If I can keep my office clean

The women here ignore me
They call me “Scrawny Dan”
But that’s because they don’t know me
They don’t know who I really am

I am Chewbacca
I am a wookie
I fight the empire
I fix the robots

Don’t fucking cross me
I am Chewbacca
In need of no one
In want of nothing

I am Chewbacca
I have no home
My home is where
My spirit goes

Don’t fucking taunt me
‘Cause I’m Chewbacca
I’ll rip your arms off
I’ll kill your friends

I think about my home planet
When I’m in the conference room
I wear a coat and tie
But my heart is filled with gloom

‘Cause that faggot on the Death Star
Would like to see me dead
Someday I’ll tear off his black helmet
And take a dump on his fuckin’ head

I am Chewbacca
I am a wookie
I fight the empire
On the Millenium Falcon

You want a piece of me?
You want a piece of Chewbacca?
I’m eight feet tall
I’ll kick your ass

I am Chewbacca
I’ve got no home
My home is where
My spirit goes

You can all fuck off
I am Chewbacca
Kiss my ass
Eat shit motherfucker

Motherfucker
Motherfucker
Motherfucker

90 Days

I had been getting stressed about the fact that my 90th day at work was coming, but I hadn’t heard anything concrete about when I was getting hired on and what I would be making. I sent emails to try and get the process started, but it didn’t seem like anyone knew their ass from their elbow. The whole hangup, see, is that I technically work for a temp agency, and this position is temp to hire. The temp agency was giving them shit about hiring me on because they wanted some fee to buy out my contract.

At any rate I was stressed about it until my manager called me in to his office along with another manager. They told me that I was being hired on at a top tier pay because of my experience and performance. This means a pay increase of about $1.50 from what I was making while with the temp agency. This rocks my socks. Yippee!!

BOOBIES!!
