It has been a long time since I held a script in my hands, running over lines, getting my body language right, going over my intonations, getting my face moving. Last night I was given the opportunity to take part in a little diddy at PCC that will be rehearsing over the next several days, and films next week. We’re doing a reproduction of an episode of Friends with Corey, Max, and various other PCC folks that I only recently met. They’re filming the same episode with two casts, some characters being played by the same person, but other roles are shared. Max and I share Ross.
It should be good fun, and I’m eager to get back in to the groove of acting. It has been quite some time since I was on any stage, but I feel like I was able to hit the ground running, even if it was a shaky landing. As soon as I know when things will be happening, the masses will hear it from the mountain top.
The only other news for your humble narrator, oh my brothers, is that the plumbing in the house is all fucked up. We can’t shit at the house, which has made for some late night trips to the gas station and showers that involve having the water off more often than it’s on. I have much more love for my gym membership, which allows me toilets, showers, and even a sauna.
The gym also allows me to take yoga classes, which are just part of the membership. I typically only went on Mondays, but I have started going on Wednesdays as well. the Monday class is fairly easy, but I am still sore the next day. The Wednesday class is run by a little Chinese girl that is hell bent on breaking my body. It wouldn’t be so bad if she didn’t talk with that stereotypical Chinese lisp. Half the time I want to laugh out loud, the other half I’m trying not to cry out in pain. All in all, I’m feeling a lot better having taken it, and will continue to do so. No pain, no standing on your head while doing the splits.
