I actually have people that read my blog daily. I’m pretty sure they’re all people I know, but I can’t help but feel that I’m disappointing them of late, so, this one’s for you. I haven’t made a decent post in the past month, so here goes nothing.
Milca and I filed our taxes together for the first time. It was a learning experience, in that we found out what the benefit is being married (you can subtract $5000 from each of your taxable incomes), and we also found out that The Loop tends to get restless when he’s not the one doing the math. At one point we needed a question answered regarding some pay that Milca got from one of her jobs, and ended up calling thebombmom, my go-to tax expert. After helping us out (most of the time she was talking to Milca) I was able to talk to her for a bit, and asked about OM. She had been my coach all 4 years of high school when I competed then, along with her son and various others. As it turns out, one of my former team mates and good pal’s mother was heading things up these days, so I called her up.
Ginger is a character. She has an energy you can’t contain. Constantly up, and always with the wit. Needless to say, the two of us crack each other up constantly when we see eachother. So, I called her, and as it turns out she was trying to organize her Judges at that exact moment. So, I volunteered in the nick of time, and ended up having a blast, meeting some new people, and seeing some creative kids.
While talking to Ginger at some point I had mentioned yoga, and just a few days later I ended up going to a yoga class with Max and Ginger, the latter of which has been trying to get me to a yoga class with her for ages. I wasn’t resistant to it, per se, it just never happened. Kundalini yoga kicked my ass, and I loved every minute of it. I was spasming the tension right out of my body. It was religious. I had such a great experience that I ended up buying 10 classes. As it turns out, I have yet to use a single one of these because of my work schedule, but now that life should be going back to normal, I should be able to make a few here and there. I’m so stoked about this. I desperately need the excersize/stretching/release/etc.
So, the hell has past, and life should be going back to normal. A friend of Milca’s will be in town for a while, which will be really nice. I’m wrapping up my frist scene for class tonight, and will likely start working on a new one with a new partner.
And, of course, boobies.
hooray, a post! and hooray, boobies!
